Welcome to the Green SME Assessment Tool

Welcome! This section is designed to help Egyptian SMEs self-evaluate their environmental footprint across their operations. The self-diagnostic tool serves two key purposes:

1. It provides a score based on the respondent's answers, measuring the extent to which their operations are green.

2. It offers a set of recommendations to help improve the respondent's environmental footprint.

The assessment will assess categories including management and operations, circularity, energy, water, supply chain, and logistics. The weights of each category have been set by Chemonics Egypt Consultants through a committee of industry experts after consulting with Egyptian SMEs through various modes including in-depth interviews and focus groups. At the end of the assessment, the respondents will receive recommendations to enhance their economic and environmental impact based on the results of the self-assessment.
